What is FIRE?
A complete IP routing control plane you embed in your device.
The Flock Internet Routing Engine (FIRE) is the routing protocols, RIB and APIs that sit between your network OS and your forwarding plane. You license the Rust source, choose the components you need and build them into your own product.
Everything runs in one lock-free process. Each component has its own thread and shares a pool that scales with your CPU cores. Operational state and configuration are exposed over gRPC.
